My friend needed help today, she is not from this city and she does not have many friends so I offered to help ring a company for her to help sort a problem out.

For repairs press 1

For heating press 2

For all other problems press 3.

Hello?

For central heating press 1

For coal fires press 2

For gas fires press 3.

Hello?

For carbon monoxide monitors press 1,

For flues press 2,

For chimneys press 3.

Hello?

For gas press 1

For electric press 2

For plasma press 3

What?

Ring, ring, ring, ring.

All of our assistants are busy

There will be at least a twenty minute wait.

Soft, gentle music……

Fights, races,

Chases fears

Anxiety

Scared,

Hates to worry

But has no escape.

Life continues,

Races away.

Fear continues

Digs in.

Ties guts and nerves,

Tears confidence.

Hides ideas.

Anxiety bubbles

Like a cauldron,

Withered, cracked, split and spilt

Mind shrunken by adversity.

Let HIM be free….

Anything,

I will not paint (I ache)

My neck aches, my eyes ache.

I’m hot, I feel like grot.

I’m resting, and waiting.

Thinking, and dozing.

I’m wobbling and dizzy.

Shoulders and hips hurt,

Head aches, body breaks.

Need an amalgam of gentle remedies.

Soften this agony,

Rest and recovery.

Shattered nerves sting.

Decaff blues.

Your cup runneth over with froth.

The season of Autumn is upon us, despite having temperatures of 33.7°C in some parts of the country this week.

Today was cooler, we had rain, the sky had been cloudy all day.

Autumn, changing days

Sun sets early, rises late.

Leaves turn from green to flame.

Ending a summers growth.

Fruit and fungi burgeoning

Apples become sweet, pears ripe.

Leaves lie deep, scrunch and crunch.

Life settles down until winters slumber.

Three quarters or so full of vim and vigour?

Where did the other 23% go?

77% of questions answered?

77% of sleep yet to fill?

Waiting for 100% capacity,

Striving for 23% more enthusiasm.

Fighting for 77% of recognition,

Hating 77% of what?

So much to say and do,

Give me twenty three percent more!

I saw this challenge on Facebook.

Type a phrase then chose the middle button of spell checker to continue. I thought it might make a poem? The phrase is… I tripped over….

I tripped over

I don’t know what to do

I don’t know if you have the same thing

But I can send you a link

I can add buttons to the list

You might end up with a cold

I have edited the last one first

Good to be a bit more practical

But all I want to get is the best

I have been working on the first week

And the last one they had with me

Food and water and all those days.

Well I’m not sure what I think of it, I think it’s quite emotionless. It’s only an algorithm though. My words. I did edit it slightly otherwise it would have said ‘sent from my Xperia’…
