Portraits have always been my “thing” really. I usually get a good likeness and will keep going if I am not happy with the initial results. I suppose in the days of the selfie there is a lot less call for them, but they don’t have to be formal.

I can take a few photos of people or pets and then integrate them into one painting. I’m careful to get the shadows in the right place and can resize the images if there is a discrepancy in their sizes. Here are some examples of paintings and drawings I have done over the years.
