When your husband goes shopping….. Not sure which of these are essential… Day thirteen, #30daysketchbookchallenge, watercolour sketch, gloves, whisky, cycling magazine and newspaper. A very male collection of purchases.
In, 3pm, slept on the bed for four hours..
In, 11pm. Has some food, goes back out..
In 1am, goes upstairs for half an hour, then out…
Stayed up and watched a film, called him in at 3.30am….eats, goes upstairs with us, sleeps on end of bed.
Me, gets up at 6.30am for a bathroom visit. He follows, scoffs lots of food, sniffs litter trays, asks to go out…
Me, can’t go back to bed incase he wants to come back in..
7am, listening to the morning radio news…
The boat is probably about 90 years old? The painting of my hubby is about forty years old. You know you are getting on when things you own start to age with you!
Time passes, faster it seems as you get older. Ten years just flew by. I have so much stuff that I have collected over the years. I wish it was displayed beautifully… But its not.

Talacre is a beach on the North Coast if Wales đ´ó §ó ˘ó ˇó Źó łó ż. Its really interesting because there’s an old lighthouse with a sculpted metal figure of a person leaning over the walkway at the top of the tower. There is no access to it, but it makes it look occupied. There are sand dunes around it and then caravan sites nearby. It’s a few miles between Prestatyn and Flint and is actually on the Dee estuary I think. I hope one day to go back. X
Visiting my friend in Yorkshire in 2011 just after he moved their. I can’t believe it’s so long ago.
In fact I remember the day we’ll. We went to sit by the river at Salts Mill and called in a riverside pub. We were looking over a cricket pitch and the wooded hills in the background. It was a hot sunny day. I love sketching instead of just taking photos….
Somewhere in 2011 I drew and wrote this. I don’t know if it’s a poem or a lot of B!
It feels like a puzzle, trying to make as many B words as possible.
I also found a sketchbook with drawings from when my friend moved up to Yorkshire. I will post them separately…

I wanted to paint a view of Westport lake with snow and ice so when the prompt water came up for #bandofsketchers I decided to go for it.

I’m a member of the cloud appreciation society and I love the sky. When it is misty and the sky turns salmon pink, when there are dark storm clouds in the background and bright sunlight shines on the landscape in front of them. We see amazing lightening storms, cumulo nimbus, stratus, cirrus, mammatus, so many sorts of clouds.
I love looking up at the sky, looking at the stars and meteor showers or seeing a satellite tracking overhead. I’ve seen Jupiter and Saturn and Mars and Venus in the telescope.
The sky can keep you occupied for hours x
