I’m caught in an app
I think its a trap!
Spend too much time
On five letter rhyme
Letters to find
To make up words
That makes people nerds!
Poetry of five
I am still alive
Just caught in a puzzle
My brains is a muscle
Trapped
Stop!
New paintings and regular art updates.

I have just spent a pointless half hour on line to a call centre. I realise they are busy, so I don’t expect to be answered straight away. But listening to dull music with the occasional ‘we will be with you as soon as possible’ really doesn’t help. Each time the music dropped out for the announcement I thought someone would answer.
The list of 8 options to choose from was also frustrating. None of them really fitted with the question I wanted to ask:
Press 1 for fate
Press 2 for hate
Press 3 for karma
Press 4 for drama!
Press 5 for applying
Press 6 for annoying
Press 7 for an answer
Press 8 for a dancer!
My mind was boggled so I gave up. If they had only said you are number (1-100) in the queue, and the waiting time is….. Minutes. That would have been helpful. As it was the only people getting anywhere are the phone company!

Oh help!
Five letters
One puzzle
I got more space
I got hooked!
Played the game
Once or twice
Frustrating and sneaky
I’m getting stuck
In words.
Knowing them
I have too many choices
Missed one letter
Eight times.
Only playing basic stuff
Five letters
Time stolen.

The cats asleep on the mat. No space to walk past them and I want to get in the kitchen to make a cup of coffee. Meanwhile the wind is whistling round the windows and the cat flap is rattling in the wind.
Black and white cats
On a black and white mat.
Full of purrs
These soft furs
Curled up warm
In the storm.

I took the photo.. Click
And he woke up
Turned round
Put his paw over his nose
And started snoring!
He’s pulled the chair cover
Off my chair
Made a nest
He’s purring!
Nice and warm
Totally curled
Tail tucked in
Sleeping!

Sleep, memory, chases my mind.
I remember we were twins
When you were still here
Now your shape is gone
A space left in my landscape
So before I weep again
Bring me more dreams of you
Here beside me
Her next to me
Sister, twin.

Black bird
Swooping down
from the sky
Wings tucked in,
Falling fast
Ready to grab
A morsel
from the ground.
A bit of grain.
Or a tasty snail?
Swoop and flash
It’s gone up high
Searching
Again.

Books, important things
Full of knowledge
Truth and lies
Freedom to think
Words have strength
Shout out loud
Of time and history.
So many subjects
Art, Biology, Cheese and wine
Gullivers travels
Earth and sky.
Let them live,
Don’t ban books
Or burn them
Fahrenheit 451
Flames lick away
Knowledge, peace, understanding
A bookshelf a day
Keeps misunderstanding
At bay.

Glue, Glitter and paint
Blue, green and black
Spiralling round
Like a maze on the ground
Metallic paint
Set with sparkles
Like an ancient mound
The path wound around
Playing with art
Staying happy.

Just look at me! I’m a daffodil face!
A nose, two eyes, and ears in place?
I could be a skull
Or a monster too
I definitely am yellow
And a little sallow
I wonder what beast
I could be the least
Beautiful flower
Or petals in a bower…
Bad rhymes
Silly times!
