I sort of see birds, owls, flying out of these flowers? Or old fashioned rocket ships, or a totem pole. When you play with patterns you can find all sorts of things. I like seeing faces in things. I recently found out it’s called Pareidolia. We studied it during one of the semesters at college, the mind looks for patterns and sometimes finds them.
Two days of hard work to tie up all the loose ends of this semesters college work. I only hope it all makes sense. I tried fitting imges on a word document, they came out tiny on the PDF. I tried using PowerPoint, it played up, and the images are huge! Ah well, computers are not my speciality.
At least now I can think about life outside of college for a couple of weeks till the start of the next semester. I can try and catch up with life.

We haven’t been able to visit for over a year because of Covid…I saw this again today and remembered how enjoyable it was just travelling, exploring, driving down roads I’d never been down before. I don’t mind not driving much, but I’d like to go to a few nice places again….
Playing with a photo of fruit. Somehow a face appeared. Pareidolia again! I can’t help myself, I see faces everywhere. Must be the way my brain is wired!
A cornucopia of satsumas and apples with an added banana. Tasty. Silly, fun.
Reflection of two ducks, turned through 90°. Somehow it became an otter or a beaver? Eyes, nose, mouth, pale fur. Maybe even some ears? Above it I can see some sort of dark eyed creature. Two large eyes and a pale button nose? Arms stretching out to either side of the picture. Ready to pounce on the otter head?
So many questions, imagination can be surprising, finding odd creatures in pattern, Pareidolia….
I found this face in these tree roots. Could be a little devil? You never really know what you are going to find until you play with an image. What fun…

That’s what I see..
What do you see? I see a beagle type dog with small brown eyes and long brown ears. Broad white shoulders. I also see a large brown hat, with very long furry fringes, above the brim of the hat the eyes of a macaque monkey, partly closed, stare out…
Pareidolia…
A few photos I’ve played around with in Layout app and Instagram. Either just mirrored or mirrored and rotated. Our topic at college this week is Pareidolia, which anyone who follows me knows I already do a lot of! Fun!
I was trying to think what this pattern reminded me of? I think it is similar to a parrot. The curve at the top right could be a bill. The oval feature on the left could be where the eye goes? Pareidolia, the phenomenon of seeing faces and animals where they are not actually represented. I might try and play with it….
