Well, deleted some more images and ‘classic’ is working again. But is anyone else having problems ‘liking’ people’s posts. I get a lot via email, and WordPress either throws me out as I try and click like, or I have to log into WordPress. I’ve just had a comment from someone else with the same problems. I’m going to let the ‘happiness engineer’, who is looking into my other problems, know about the various issues.

Yes, it’s gone again. I’ve deleted several posts and photos in my media file. I’m running at 74% full. Like toilet paper, when something goes missing, it can leave you in a sticky situation.
Anyway I need to go shopping. The fridge and freezer are empty. I’ve tried not to go because I’m not really supposed to go out. But I have to collect tablets and try and do a weekly shop.
I don’t know why I’m fussing over this. Lately I’ve found WordPress is a bit glitchy. Failed to save draft is another message I get. I wonder if there is a simple guide to WordPress? A sort of encyclopedia to give you information…

After deleting several posts and images my classic editor is working again. It does mean that posts from late last year might not exist anymore. Do I need to buy more space? Anyway a ‘happiness engineer’ is on the case now, so I’m looking forward to sorting it out. Wish me luck.

My hubby just asked what I think will happen with corona virus and I have to say I don’t know. What I do know is that the news on TV and the radio is making me more anxious. My shoulders are so tense they are aching. My neck feels like it has the weight of the world on it. As someone with health issues I should hide away for twelve weeks, but I’m also my hubby’s carer. He does things to help or tries to, but sometimes gets a bit confused. I don’t think anyone will stop him going out! The traffic on the street outside is a lot quieter than normal. This is a manufacturing area that has been in decline for a few years. Let’s hope the illness doesn’t decimate it.
Anyway I don’t like the editor I’m using. I’ve found categories and tags, but can’t share to Facebook where I add my art, so I will keep calm and post there seperately.
We were in quite a reasonable situation earlier today. Not to many restrictions here about the Corona virus. That was until a news conference with the Prime Minister.
Now anyone over 70, pregnant or with underlying health conditions should self isolate for 12, yes twelve weeks. They should not go shopping, go to bars, clubs, pubs or restaurants. People with a persistent dry cough or temperature above 37.8°C should self isolate for 14 days and stay in with their families. Schools are staying open for now, but that may change, and some parents are already keeping their children off school.
There is a shortage of hospital beds and ventilators and possibly a lack of oxygen. There will be many problems no doubt.
It feels like we are in a sci-fi horror film. Like an apocalyptic future that has just arrived. How will the elderly and vulnerable people cope? Obviously this will have an economic impact, but its better to save lives than lose them for lack of funding. People could be thrown into debt and destitution.
The overall illnesses and deaths are not high yet. But we are at the start of a new world. Who can say how many will be affected. And yet millions die of starvation and illness every year. Poverty is one of the biggest killers. The first world has been lucky until now. Perhaps we have lost some of that luck.
For some reason my phone won’t load the classic editor page. I’m not sure what’s wrong. I’ve deleted a lot of photos in case it’s a memory problem. I’m going to try and post this as a local post and hope it publishes to my blog. I’m not really happy doing it this way because I struggle to get into categories and tags…. So I don’t have ‘clues’ to let people know what I’m writing about. Plus I’m not sure I will be able to post an image?
I would appreciate some help and advice please. I’m slightly lost!

Apologies for this poem, it is not well written or rhymed, but the image popped up on my memories page, and I was surprised at how much time had passed. I wonder what he would make of the world now?
This has been hidden behind envelopes and letters for weeks, artists block holding me tight in its grip. So why is it uncovered? Is there going to be a spurt in activity? No, spring cleaning, removing piles of old letters and finding things to shred or burn…. And I cleaned the cooker, cleaned the bathroom sink, did the washing up, cleaned the fridge, the sink in the kitchen, wiped the walls down and… Still didn’t paint, despite having things to do…. My bum needs a good kicking!
I was thinking of rhymes I learnt as a child, when into my inbox popped an email. It was a pingback saying that someone had shared the poem “the North Wind shall blow”. It had a copyright sign, but it’s not by me! I don’t know it’s origins, but it’s a lovely poem, well crafted, poignant.
Anyway I’ve let them know. In this Internet age, with so much information it is not surprising that things get lost or forgotten. I learned this when I was a child, which is over fifty years ago!

I think it says 2005.
There had been a massive Tsunami on Christmas Eve in the Philippines. Our offices decided to do an auction I think for a fundraiser and I offered to do a painting for whoever bid for it.
The winning bid wanted a painting of three dogs. I think they are French bulldogs? They were named after characters from Buffy the vampire slayer, which was a popular TV programme at the time.
It’s funny the little details you remember. But yes, I used to love doing pet portrait. Contact me if you are interested….
