What is your favorite type of weather?

Not all nlue
Clouds too
Drops of rain
As showers hit the plain
The smell of damp ground
Soils compound
Life giving water
Flowers start to mound
Up to the sky
Blue bells and forget me nots
Softly watered…..

Hope this will be a feature for my garden. Just made today, a planting pocket at a BCB workshop in stoke. Really enjoyed it. Now waiting for firing. The blue and orange are slip colours, there’s a little cat scratched into the left bottom corner. The black and white patch is newspaper holding the planting pocket open until the clay is hardened. I used leaves impressed in the surface for the design but the wet slip obliterated a lot of the details so then I scratched them back into the surface.

Playing with collage and filters.
It started out as a photo taken through my bedroom window, as I shake I got interesting trails of light. Then by putting the photo through the same filter 3 times I got this laminated effect.
I like the simple colours, black, white and blue. I think the pattern I created looks like a butterfly. I also think it looks a bit like an xray..

I saw that the sunset was developing from my side of the hill, but we are blocked from sunsets by that hill. So I jumped in the car and took some photos on the other side. This was one of the best, penkhull, England. 14.12.24. I think one cloud looks like a shark!

Someone sent me this photo of lentil soup and suggested I try it but I wasn’t up to following the recipe. But I did like their photo. Apologies if it is copyright but I don’t think so? The table was visible in the original and the dinner mat was twisted but I straightened it up a bit and cropped it to lose the table. I just like the orange bowl and the thin blue line round the edge. It just seperates the bowl from the white and yellow of the mat.

This morning
The light turned
From green to blue
As the sun rose
And chased away auroras.
Nightmare scenes
Of devilish greens
Just a phantom thought
Flashing through the sky…
Halloween is near
Spirits swoop in shear
Joy

Artrage sketch from 5 years ago. I was learning how to use Artrage which I had bought recently and was experimenting with colours, metallic backgrounds and textures. I quite like the watercolour effect that seemed almost analogue.

@creaderart showed me how to do a cyanotype today. It is made using light sensitive paper that is exposed to light then washed in water to wash away the coating. The bird stencil was hers. If you can see a vague cat shape that’s my drawing which I added a few minutes later. Looking slightly like a reflection in a window. It’s oddly like an xray?

Photo with four parts duplicated symmetrically. Done in InCollage. The photo was from four years ago. I like the effect. It’s slightly bizarre and surreal. I might do some more.

Photo of a drinking glass, it has a ridged blue surface spiralling round the outside. I took this photo looking through it at the TV screen in a darkened room. The curves on the right hand side are my fingers and fingernails. There are pieces of ice at the bottom of the glass. I might put it through apps to see how it comes out.
