Illness

My body is literally a pain. From recent problems to chronic health issues, I have to admit things are mounting up. I want to get to 100 when Halleys Comet is due to be back in our skies, but I’m getting fed up. I think my mind is fine but things keep going wrong. Must be my genetic makeup. Fingers crossed I don’t get anything else. At least one thing I have is determination. I don’t easily give up. Here’s another lot of tablets? Fine, thank you. I am thankful for the NHS, I don’t know how I would cope without it!

Gout?

My friend sent me this information about gout (I’ve not been diagnosed yet). I have a face to face appointment tomorrow. I hope it will sort out what’s causing me pain in my joints. So fingers crossed (ouch!)

When you are dependent on using your hands to be creative its a real pain (pun intended) to have to stop. I will be really grateful if this can be sorted out. I’m hoping for a positive outcome on this. So it’s a thumbs up (lol) from me. X

Sore

I am going to try and keep doing things but over the weekend I have hurt my wrist and thumb somehow. I’m taking painkillers and have it strapped up. I will try and get in the doctors today. I don’t want to stop but I can’t draw well. The sketch was done on my tablet with a stylus and just holding that was a pain. I’m typing by holding my hand still and moving the phone round underneath it. Ouch

Purrs

He is a bit of a nervous cat but when he’s in a good mood he purrs really loudly. He puts a paw out and touches my hand or arm. He will rest his head on my hand now, and then he starts to snore!

I appreciate his love and I think he appreciates ours. We are lucky to have built a friendship with this cat which was abandoned by his previous owners a few years ago. I hope he stays with us for a long time.

Outside cat is huge!

I just noticed that the outside cat (seen here inside) is almost as big as my trumpet case. This gives you an idea of the scale of him! He’s got used to knocking on the cat flap now. He could walk through it as we have it set to coming in only, but I think he would struggle to squeeze through!

Tonight he was lying on the two arms of our armchair, on a cushion placed between the arms. He had his paws and his face on my hand. He was dreaming and his head and ears were twitching, his claws stuck in my hand at one stage. Then he woke up and went to the back door. He only stays in for a couple of hours, unless he’s deeply asleep. No doubt he will be back in an hour or so.
