My friend drew me and I love it! The necklace round my neck is supposed to be a diamond and she calls me ‘queen Victoria’ (which makes me feel very old!)
Such a sweet drawing, simply done. But it cheerdx my heart. Love the glasses and the bows in my hair. I look like a little girl again. Funny how people see you. Different to myself. I’d add more lines and lumps and bumps!
Colours of the moment. Blue and yellow, sorrow and sunshine. Rock and air. Sun and cloud. Buildings in history, broken, and ruined. Life grows in the cracks. A maze, the Minotaur hidden. A ball of string to use to escape? Walls fall, golden stone and sea rushing in. My mind is lost in thought.
Another old pattern, this was done in ArtRage oils and is another Facebook memory that popped up. I think this was done on another phone. I like seeing the way my mind was working a few years ago. More abstract and possibly more experimental than now!
Faces drawn in a nice app I used to use a few years ago. But I had to delete it because I don’t have enough memory on my phone. Maybe when I finally upgrade it I will reinstall it. I think it was called sketcher app. I think I still have it on another device but that’s not linked to the Internet very well so I have to mess about trying to link things. Maybe I should get more organised. I quite like this.
Today’s #bandofsketchers prompt was pack. I’m not sure I got this right. It started with some squiggled lines then I worked on it in the sketch app on my phone. I should have added a card like the ace of hearts but I cannot get neat straight lines so I’ve abandoned it at this stage. X
Layers of ink, using three coloured pens held together. Then another layer with three more felt pans. By using different dark and light colours you get an effect that makes the paler colours recede. I wonder if I should fill in some of the gaps in bright colours. I might try doing that digitally….
I was asked to paint some script onto a wall several years ago ( the script was an edited version of the quote in the photo) I think it came out OK ( emulsion paint used). This was before my arm started shaking, when I still had a steady hand. I think I try and follow the words on the wall, some days more than others. X

That children and babies have been maimed and killed?
That an art school where 400 people were sheltering was destroyed yesterday?
That Russia is boasting it is using hyper sonic weapons and other vile technology to bombard its way to victory.
Why? Would you be happy if your women and children were fleeing? Your grandmother’s and grandfather’s being attacked. Put yourself in Ukraines shoes.
Putin must stop.
I did this drawing four years ago, it just popped up on my Facebook memories. I can’t remember what app I used. I think I deleted it off my phone because it took up too much memory. I must have been thinking of pigeons or parrots? Anyway it was fun to draw.

My plans were scuppered this weekend. The car isn’t outside the house but at the garage. It went in for one thing but something else broke so they are waiting for a part. Meanwhile I can’t go to the places I want to get to.
