Have I posted this before? A digital image of an abstracted female face. I wish I could remember how I made it. Its probably a self portrait. I can also see an animal with green eyes in the lower half. There I go seeing things on patterns again.
New paintings and regular art updates.

Sweet treats without sugar

I tried making a Zine, a concertina of pages with my college images stuck on them. I didn’t know how to make a book and this helped me to work out how to display individual images but as a collection. I intend to try and get pages printed off and then put them in some sort of binder. I also need to do the first inside page and title page plus the front and back covers. I probably don’t need to do the whole thing but it’s a lesson so it’s worth having a go C

Go out and sing!
Join together in harmony
Open your mouth and heart.
Let your feelings out!
Sing songs of fun and glory,
Music to enhance your mood
Tunes that fold your memory in them
Like nectar, it is a wonderful food
It holds the world together
Plays through mind and soul
So sing of love and life and feelings
My choir makes me feel whole!

Today’s prompt for Esther Chiltons limerick challenge is Bread this week. I wrote this poem to be humorous and although I hate marmite I wouldn’t try and stop anyone else eating it.
Limericks have two rhyming lines at the start, then two lines with a different rhyme and then one single, final line, that rhymes with the first two.
Maybe it’s time to get your pen out…?
Play with the words, it’s fun, no doubt!
Rhyme and couplet
Words you can bet
You can be a real limerick lout!

Well it feels like that. I’m trying to find bits of information that I haven’t seen for thirty years! It’s just part of our modern life. Everything is online. But what happens if you don’t have it or are not totally expert in it. I’ve transferred PDFs but can’t find them now….
I rang up. Yes of course you can post the information in to us! Phew. My hubby never uses our computer. So I’m his secretary. Better than having it thrown out of the window!

Comparisons. The middle drawing was the original and the top and bottom ones are experiments. I love playing with art. Originally part of our #bandofsketchers prompt ‘beach’ based on Bovisand in Devon.

I don’t know if it’s me or WordPress but the site keeps closing on me. I’ve just deleted a few more photographs from previous posts and taken my memory down to 98.3% full! I’ve always posted my own pictures here and I used to always post large images.. Big mistake. I can’t afford to upgrade my memory. I guess I will have to keep my pictures restricted in size and keep deleting them!

Mammal? Ursine, bearlike, white faced, snowy coat. Is there an abominable snowman? An alien creature or a hidden anthopoid ancestor? Related to the mythical Big foot? Could something survive in hidden valleys up in the mountains? Living in caves. Quiet and intelligent. Their furry bodies insulated against the cold. Would melting glaciers and snow force them higher and higher? Their camouflaged bodies keeping them hidden from the increasing population of mountaineers and walkers encroaching on their space.
A digital drawing of an imagined creature. Making up a history and biology of it is interesting but I don’t have the skills to really write it.

Beach, #bandofsketchers. Today’s prompt. Felt pens. I also did digital variations. I might put them on another post. Trying for a 1930’s art deco vibe.
