Like lemon marmalade
Hasty and zingy
Wide eyed and happy.
Bouncing like rubber
Heels kicking
Flying free
Ginger moggy
I wish I were thee…

This picture was done using a photo of a cover if a colouring book, then duplicating and twisting and mirroringbit in the Layout app. Finally I changed the texture in photodirector, then added a background of starry nebulae and added a grunge layer to it (both in photodirector). The more you play, the more you learn!

One of a bunch I was bought for new years day. Put through one filter in photodirector because I couldn’t get a good focus on it. The filter just tidied it up a bit, and made the centre of the flower more patterned. It’s more obvious round the edges, and the colours are brighter than the original.

When life gives you lemons
Leave them to rot
Forget lemonade
I like it, not!
When life gives you lemons
You know its getting sour
Your feeling down
And your temper is dour.
When life gives you lemons
Have a good cry
Remember that all of us
Are born to die.
When life gives you lemons
Make something nice to eat
Pancakes with sugar and lemon
Really do taste sweet!

My hubby bought this today. I love green men.. But this is spooky! The face is sinister. I can imagine its a poisoned chalice! I added some texture to the photo which makes it seem more eerie….I think I would prefer it carved out of wood.. But I like it.

With oone filter. I used this to show how you can change a photo using just one filter. In this case the cat was transformed into an apparent oil painting abstract by using the second style filter in the Photodirector app. This smears out the details into swirls and patterns. It also makes the edges of the areas of colour more obvious.

Don’t quite know why a screen full of faces intruiges me? I think it’s the combination of colours. And by using texture filters I can disguise the participants. It’s mainly abstract now although you can tell there are people there just about. Photodirector effects is what I used.

Playing with images to protect the identity of a meeting I was in. Why pixilated when you can play with textures instead. Various things used but mainly textural effects in photodirector. Basically I ran the image through the same filter about six times to up the level of texture… Like hotocopying a photocopy over and over again… In the end its altered much more than it would normally be.

Playing with filters again. I started out with a photo of the back of my writing pad that is covered in dots. I duplicated it in layout app, then changed it in Instagram and Photodirector. The effect is like reverb in music, like a feedback loop I think, where patterns that are hidden are revealed by the filters.
