Today I had my operation. I was very nervous. To calm myself down I sang during surgery! The surgeon encouraged me. He wants to do my other eye too! I’ve got an eye guard on now. I can see the side on the right is a lot brighter and whiter. My left eyesight is much yellower. So TV looks odd. I realise how much my sight had been affected..must be careful not to bend over….. My cat is OK BTW. Need to give him another tablet soon. He’s going to be on them for life. Two weeks till I can have a checkup for both him and me. Hard to type, my eye keeps tearing up. Better stop..
I am due in surgery tomorrow so I was going to tidy up and remove trip hazards. But that was before one of my cats decided to be ill. I spent a lot of this morning trying to entice him into his pet carrier. In the end I had to scoop him into it. I didn’t know what was wrong with him but he was breathing fast. It wasn’t right so I took him to the vets.
It turns out he might have heart failure, so he’s now on tablets for the rest of his life. I don’t know what I’ll do if passes away, but at least I found out in time.
So anyway the operation is tomorrow.
I’ve done nothing to get organised, just been napping this afternoon. I will have to get up early tomorrow. But I feel relieved that my cat will be OK. How I will get the tablets in him while I am recuperating? I don’t know.
My Cat started breathing fast this evening. I’d taken him to the vets yesterday and he was fine. They gave him some meds but I don’t think this is anything to do with this. I think he might have a fur ball. He sounded a bit wheezy before his breathing changed. After about an hour things have settled down and he is sleeping.
I rang the vets office anyway and they said they would call me back. I dare not drive to the emergency vets because of my Parkinsons and cataracts. They are on the other side of the city and I don’t want to put him or me at risk. So I’ll stay up with him and take him down my local vets in the morning.
It’s frightening when you live on your own and things go wrong. If I can’t rely on myself I’m in trouble. Age and the aging process is a pain.
By the cutlery and sugar, sits a brass cat. I liked the look of it so took a random photo. I cropped it a bit but I should have got rid of the cream coloured shelf above the cat. I just didn’t notice until I added it here. I could change it now, but is it worth it? The cat is in the cafe area of BArts in Stoke upon Trent. That’s where we’ve almost finished performing Molly Leigh. You’ll be glad because I won’t be able bore you any more!
One of my cats, last night he was keeping the bed warm for me, no thanks. 27°C in the day and not much cooler last night. I think he was rather warm too. As soon as I sat on the bed he was off. He’s not a teddy bear sort of cat.
The cats are all over the place in this weather, they disappear in the day, only to come in for fresh water and the occasional meal. But they seem happy. I’m hoping for some rain soon.
Meanwhile I have decided to have another quiet day. Sitting in a darkened room, I’m shattered by tiredness and the heat.
A tagline is a short, catchy phrase or memorable sentence that encapsulates the essence of a brand or product. It’s often used in advertising and marketing to convey the key benefits or message associated with the brand, helping to create brand awareness and recognition. Think of it as the brand’s verbal logo, simple, memorable, and impactful.
Key features of a tagline:
Short and memorable: Taglines should be concise and easy to recall.
Captures the brand’s essence: They should reflect the brand’s values, personality, and mission.
Used consistently: Taglines are typically used across various marketing materials to maintain a cohesive brand image.
Can be descriptive, imperative, provocative, or specific: They can highlight what the brand promises to deliver, encourage action, pose a question, or focus on a specific characteristic.
Can be a slogan: While slogans are often temporary and tied to a specific campaign, a tagline is a more consistent, long-term representation of the brand’s identity.
Well I’m not a commercial business. I don’t think I’d personally like a tagline. But Artistic Cat lover sort of fits the bill. Both of these things have been part of my life for almost all of my existence. I’m not promising anything, I’m not selling anything, and I hope what I’m saying makes sense. X
I saw this again today and I really do like it. I might buy some scraper board to do my own creations. Then if I was to photograph the I could make original artwork to turn into cards and prints. I just wish I had more energy to do it.
