Just played with some photos of a single maple or sycamore leaf. I added some lines and patterns and ended up with three different green man ideas. Maybe one day I will turn these into cards? I enjoy tweaking things and making something different.
New paintings and regular art updates.

There once was a man in the moon
Who wove a big rug on a loom
With stars and with craters
Where he planted his ‘taters
In moon dust they met their doom!

I uused an app called photoeditor to change the character of this digital drawing. The style option changes the line work and makes it look more standardised if that makes sense? It seems to smooth things out and tidy them up although it adds extra lines into the drawing.
I used sketcher free app to do the initial drawing. It’s relatively like using pencil and crayons, you get different options of drawing tools.
I admired Stephen Hawking, he was a brilliant physicist and had amazing knowledge. I wish more people appreciated scientists.

I’m into Astronomy not Astrology, but I do like the symbols that are used, I just tried this out as an idea to symbolise the Gemini ♊ twins. I wanted to capture the feeling of identical and non identical at the same time. I did consider different skin tones and eye colours. This is also female, but I could have drawn male instead. Drawn in ArtRage oils and Sketch apps, it is again an example of digital drawing. I might put it through a few filters and see what results.

Digitally drawn at a website called 2draw. I don’t remember much about drawing it except that kits a true reflection of me! I really do have to draw and create. I think the caw is clearly the call of the bird. I’m pleased with the bold colours and expressive lines.

Another doodle, this time a possible background for something, or even a stand alone piece of art. Created in ArtRage oils and sketch app, digital drawing. learning to use different tools in the apps. I did this a while ago. If I’m not learning and playing with things I get really bored.
that’s it for now, I really have tired myself out just sitting at the computer and typing. Need a rest. Phew! Plus I have not had an evening meal yet and I will have to cook it, might be back later if I feel a bit better.

A cat I drew for one of my projects last semester, I seriously need to tidy up my style a bit. Then I have been doodling again ….

Now I’m working on a cheeky dragon for a possible pin badge.
Question? Do you think people would be interested in buying a well drawn and crafted pin badge of a dragon? This is just a sketch…
What colours should dragons be?
My idea is for a spotty dragon, do you think that would work?
what should it be made in, metal or plastic?
Any ideas/ suggestions?

Playing with a photo of the light through my back door. Turned through 90°. Added a bit of texture to create arms and a chin for its apparent head. I sort of see the torso of a robot made of transparent plastic. I think it looks OK. Playing, again, for fun.

Digital drawing of a cat that I drew a few years ago on sketchfu. I drew a series of these about the adventures of this cat. I imagined him getting up to all sorts of tricks, balancing on washing lines, chasing goldfish, stealing steaks from neighbours kitchens. I don’t know where the other old drawings went. I have had to change my computer a couple of times when it crashed so they may be lost for good.
I really need to save things to a seperate hard drive, the trouble is I have so many images, I don’t know how to store them….

ArtRage oils sketch, edited in Sketch app. 2019. Digital drawing.
I like editing things in one application and then running it through one or two more. In a similar way to using different filters on Photoshop.
I have used lots of different apps over the years but I don’t always remember what I did in each of them which is why they look different each time. I want to find the best selection of drawing tools that I can. I hope they look OK.
