Makes you look
At a semi alien bush
Green, blue, happily
Interesting play
With branches displayed
In rhythmic pattern.
Symmetrical versus Asymmetry.

Another #bandofsketchers prompt was Shoes. Another digital drawing, I then put it through the collage app on my phone to make it a pair not a single shoe. I liked trying to get some reflections into the drawing.

Taking a petal from my flower photos earlier. I decided to use my sketchbook app to try and create a floral pattern. The symmetry tool was used to create a nine sectioned flower. Then I coloured it in with symmetry and non symmetry. Finally I put this through a scenery filter in my Photodirector app. Not AI but definitely digital.

Take a photo mainly of sky. Have one or two corners with a building or plant on it. Use a collage tool to create four images and rotate them so that the silhouettes merge in the middle… Voila!

Doodle using the Sketchbook app on my phone. I used a symmetry tool to draw it. And various brushes to colour it in. I’ve always loved owls and I like the quirky shapes. There are so many types of owls from little owls to eagle owls, barn, snowy, long eared owls. Wonderful creatures.

For #bandofsketchers prompt pattern, I was playing with a previous digital drawing. I altered it in my Sketchbook app on my phone to add more symmetrical patterns and lines, then I adjusted it in photodirector.

They give you flowers
To salve your loss
To show they care.
I feel so grateful
To be remembered
But the need of a vase
Can be a problem.
I found one at last.
Flowers setted
Rejoyce in their beauty

Symmetrical tree with lights and stained glass windows. Still loving playing with photos and art.
In other news I’m lucky to have so many friends. Things are happening and I’m like a boulder in a raging river, being bashed all over the place, but people keep throwing me lifelines and I feel like things should (not saying will) be alright. Meanwhile I have to keep occupied.

My brains making patterns again. Looking for a photo with a tree in the corner, then quadrupling it and twisting it round. The hoar frost on the twigs and branches added to the texture of the image. I’m doing things like this to keep occupied. X

I saw this window in the Japanese restaurant near us. I decided to collage it to see how it would look in a duplicate form. I tried rotating it but I think this is the best version of it. I like the flatness of it, the misty feel, as if you had come across this structure on a foggy night. Perhaps reflected in a still river. I love playing with images.
