I joined a moss appreciation group recently. I’ve taken a few photos but I’ve not come across anything as spectacular as some of the members post. You can just see a reddish orange cup shape in the bottom right quarter of this photo. I think its a type of fungus?
Here’s a closer look. Can you identify it?
I like the idea of eccentric groups of people adding information and images to the Internet. That’s what makes it interesting.
I tried to draw my money plant with Artrage app. Its not very healthy. I’ve made it look better in the drawing. I’m thinking of banishing it to the summerhouse. ##bandofsketchers prompt potted plant.
Blue flowers, ridged flower buds and bright green leaves with a jagged edge. Its a biggish bush /plants but in a raised bed, so I’m not sure of its maximum height.
Does anyone recognise this, I’d like to find out. I might take a cutting. The plants are covered in flowers and seed heads so I might try and gather seeds too. It’s in full sunlight/partial shade. Any ideas?
Moss is growing on my car, should I let it grow? Is it doing damage? And yet its beautiful, it looks like a little green forest. Like tiny trees in full leaf. I’m torn between it and cleaning it off. And is it legal? A rolling car should gather no moss?
Another #bandofsketchers catch up. Prompt was vehicle. Digital drawing, in Artrage app. I’m up late because someone was in the garden. We rang the police and they are trying to catch them. Can’t sleep so drew a green car.
We have a lemon tree from the supermarket and after six months the lemon has grown and is turning yellow. There are a few more small lemons on the plant so once we pick this one they may start growing. It’s propped on the lip of the pot so it can catch the sun and get warmed by the radiator when it’s on.
The plant had to be potted on because it was root bound and it has grown really well with glossy green leaves. I like the texture of the lemon and leaves in my photo which I took from below to get a better view and catch the blue sky and dream catcher in the background.
Another digital drawing from a few years ago. Also drawn on my tablet. I think I was trying to add some autumnal colours to my drawing. I love experimenting and third app I was using allowed you to add gradient fill to my drawing. I really must get my tablet fixed.

Sometimes I have no iea what I’m doing. I just doodle, draw and dabble with textures on the apps in my phone. First drawn in Artrage and then used photodirector to play and change things, then adjusted he colours in Instagram.
Artrage doodle of an eye and nose, just playing with colour and line thicknesses. I liked the combination of yellow, beige and green and brown. I wanted it to look like a lino cut print. I used different pens to create the image.
