David Tennant is back as the 14th Doctor Who. He’s starring alongside Catherine Tate as, Donna Noble and as usual they try and save the world.
This digital drawing was done in about 2006? I drew it at a website called Sketchfu that no longer exists, I did quite a few portraits on my old wacom tablet. I’ve always been quite proud of this one!
I love that Tennant is back for three special episodes over the next few weeks. It’s made me happy!
Thursdays #bandofsketchers prompt was dream. I love horses and this is my dream of one. Another Artrage app drawing. (It might be more of a nightmare than a dream!)
Watching sky portrait artist of the year. I’ve done a finger painting of an editor called Vanessa Kingori, trouble is you don’t see the sitter for long so it’s a very sketchy drawing. Artrage app.
Sundays #bandofsketchers prompt was bang/jump. I really wanted to try and draw an exploding firework so I used an app called sketchbook and drew something using a symmetry tool.
To the #bandofsketchers prompt blue. A blue made up face using Artrage app. Its not very exciting, I wasn’t sure what to do. Anyway it’s good to start catching up with the prompts, digital drawing,
Profile doodle. I drew a pattern then erased the shape of a face. I could try and make this different by changing it from positive to negative. I’ve started drawing a bit more and began a painting of a galleon at sunset yesterday. It’s not finished but I will post it later.
This came up on Facebook memories and I thought it was so close to how I’m feeling now. Jangling nerves, my heartbeat spikey, thoughts all over the place moving at a million miles a second. Suspicious of everyone. Anxiety and tiredness mixed into a morass of stress. It’s been a bad few days and I don’t know if it’s going to get better. Fingers crossed.

Another #bandofsketchers catch up. Prompt was vehicle. Digital drawing, in Artrage app. I’m up late because someone was in the garden. We rang the police and they are trying to catch them. Can’t sleep so drew a green car.
I tried to draw an abstract image of fear. Everything is chaotic, your not in control, tight chest and gut. Swirling colours…
I’m not afraid of halloween or anything silly like that, but I’m scared to go out into our garden without my hubby. We have been through a series of thefts from our garden and now I can’t stop looking out of the window to check if anyone had come back. Hubby just rushed out because he saw someone on a bike like his, and I’m afraid to go into the garden incase someone is lurking, so many bad thoughts of what might happen!
Hence the drawing, a bit of self art therapy.
Take an image, duplicate it, turn it until you are happy with it’s position. I used incollage app to create these. The original images can be a drawing, an image that has been digitally manipulated or just a photo of an object. Just experimenting and having fun.
