Chunky curves, squares and triangles. Growing across the page. I keep doing these. I enjoy making up patterns that can be expanded or manipulated.
Black ink again, thin fine liner. I has fun with it.
New paintings and regular art updates.

Twisting the pattern I drew as a doodle seems to create a strange creature reflected in a mirrored surface. There could be other alien creatures lurking in there. I enjoyed doing this. I had some fun with it. I could make three more versions, choosing different corners to match up in the middle. I think this is my favourite.

Can you see me?
Man or lion…
Staring angrily
Out at you.
… I’m hidden
Camouflaged…
Lost in your mind
Dream or nightmare?
One day I will catch you
And bite you
Twist and turn you
Revelation

Seated figure. Mark making sketch drawn in the middle of the night when I couldn’t sleep because of the pain in my leg. I tried to draw a chain like pattern and to see what arrived on the page. I do think it looks interesting and I might add some rusty colours to give it a metallic feel. I think I will do a few more drawings using patterns to make them.

Drawn this morning then mirrored and played with in photodirector. The idea is to draw a contour line around ink marks that have bled through from the previous page in my sketchbook. The initial drawing took a couple of hours, the duplication and mirrored images a few minutes. This is a combination of two lots of three images.

Two versions of my #bandofsketchers drawing for the prompt knot. The bottom one was first, a collage using felt pens and off cuts of sketchbooks. The top one is with a collaged kite added. The string becomes the knotwork.

Just a few digital drawings, one initial one then I used photodirector to change the colours and tones. I like to play with drawings and see how it can be altered without losing the definition.

Panto rehearsal started tonight. I’ve offered to help paint the scenery again and I might get a few lines to speak. It’s been a couple of years since we did it because of covid.
This is a picture of me painting a banner for a mystery play that we did a few years ago (based on the willow pattern). I love getting involved in these projects.

Using the digital drawing app on my phone I just did this. There is no chance of it being celtic as its a finger drawing and my arm shakes too much to draw straight or neatly curved lines.
Still it was fun to use the mirrored curves tool (what is it called?) to create this. I liked adding a bit of p

Just a doodle of a bee holding the stub of a pencil. It was an idea for a logo. It wasn’t taken up, but I think the artist liked it.
I suppose I could do a whole alphabet using animals or insects and different artists materials…. From an Aardvark holding a paintbrush to a Zebra on a canvas? I don’t know?
