Panto went well!

Oh yes it did! All my hard work seems to have been appreciated with the scenery. The panto is a hoot, with compliments about how good it is. The songs were OK. I almost remembered them! I only forgot one line, but non of us were 100%, but that doesn’t matter as the audience haven’t read the script! We even seemed to dance well. All the cast were enjoying themselves and the audience were appreciative, even with a delayed start due to a parking issue. They laughed all the way through and there was some brilliant clowning about.

Well, only three more performances. I’m shattered, but too tired to sleep.

Film : Humanus

Just got back from seeing a film we were in as extras. It was actually shown at a proper cinema which was great. The cast, writers, singers and crew are members of Inter theatre a community theatre company. This is a group of disabled actors who have come together to make a feature film. Featuring Nello (Neil Baldwin) who was portrayed by Toby Jones in Marvellous, a film about his life. It was funny, included a tragic romance, singing, zombies the waiting room for heaven and hell and horrific murders. Directed by Steve Mitchell, it is ground breaking because it stars and includes many people who are disabled but who show just how they can be involved in things like this. It may have a premiere in London (fingers crossed) and also may get put on one of the streaming networks.

Wish it luck x.

Random poem

Type and spellchecker makes suggestions based on previous words used or the letters you are typing. Sometimes it’s useful, other times frustrating. You can make up a random poem by choosing the words that come up and seeing what it creates….

Sent from my

Bed and breakfast

I don’t know if

I like looking at clouds

Sent from the old one

But you said no

I like it when you say that

It’s renound for the first time

This is what you mean

Cats are all a bit of a cold

I don’t know how

to waste your time

This cats will never

be able to help

Next week.

Breadmaking

_20191022_204706

When my hubby makes bread,

It’s like an alien invasion.

It’s like the film ‘the blob’

Expanding

Contracting,

Overflowing.

The flour is everywhere,

Brown and white

Two packets of yeast,

Half on the floor.

The biggest pan,

The hottest oven.

Rising up to the ceiling,

Growing  like a balloon.

Cooked

Nice with marmalade.

Boris the 🕸 Spider

sketch-1569633066742

For as long as I can remember, if we see a big, hairy, spider in the house, we call it Boris. Nothing to do with politics, its kind of a tradition. I don’t see him very often, but as the nights cool down he tends to scurry across the floor (might be a she?). I think there is a mating season for spiders. The only problem is the cats, they are quite expert at catching spiders (mainly in the bathroom) if Boris was to be spied by one of the cats, we’ll I wouldn’t give him much of a chance of escape. There is something about the look on the cats face, concentration, anticipation, that does not bode well for any spiders in the vicinity.

Evidence

sketch-1567763327101

Got up this morning and found an empty brie packet on the cupboard. It was like a crime scene with the brie kidnapped from the fridge and taken away. Silly I know! It’s just that I buy food for both of us and it’s annoying when it’s just eaten without leaving a bit for me.

I wanted to find something to write on to say ‘evidence’ to leave next to it. But it was five o’clock in the morning and I didn’t have the energy.

When I got up again it was gone, so the opportunity was lost…

Claws out

_20190828_154225

I have the claw marks to prove it. She’s a lovely cat but she likes climbing up my leg instead of jumping up onto my knees.

This is also spider chaser extreme. Which is fine until she knocked over a bottle of shampoo and the liquid ran all over the floor and behind the sink, that was messy to clear up.

What else? She’s the cat that lies under the mat, she rolls toys under it then pulls them back out by lying on her side and using her claws to try and reach the toy. She also hides behind coats that are hung up and pounces on her brother. She also climbs up on the window behind the curtains and trys pulling at the net curtains. She’s almost knocked the TV off its stand! She’s a really bouncy cheeky cat!
