My mind was in a funny condition when I saw these black paper off cuts. I somehow saw a flying dinosaur, pterydactil skeleton!

Another #bandofsketchers prompt, spied, I’m way behind, this was set about 5 weeks ago! I’ve not wanted to do these for a while perhaps I’m feeling a little better?
I’m miles being doing sketching prompts and this is five weeks late!
The #bandofsketchers prompt was crow, i drew a cartoon crow today. It’s asking why it’s legs are short. It’s because I drew the rest of it too big!
I joined a small writing group today. There will be writing prompts which I might post here. Like a pile of off cuts on a table, I think I need to put the bits of paper together to create a coherent image. It is like seeing a Rorschach test and being able to tell a narrative based on those ink blots. I might try and see what else I can do with this? I can see faces and a bird and animals in this image. Pareidolia again.
Doodle of faces in profile and full face. Artrage doodled finger painting. I like adding layers and this app has different pens. I the past I just used the free Artrage oils app which just had synthetic oil paint texture, but this has spray paint, glitter, various other pens and brushes. It’s fun to use. You can also add metallic touches.

A little owl on a little canvas. I have several tiny paintings in a box because I’ve basically given up craft fairs. I don’t have the energy or health to do them anymore. I will have to see how I feel later in the year.
You can tell it’s a small canvas because of the size of the weave of the material. It’s an acrylic on canvas. I love painting but I’ve hit an artists block situation. X
Hope this will be a feature for my garden. Just made today, a planting pocket at a BCB workshop in stoke. Really enjoyed it. Now waiting for firing. The blue and orange are slip colours, there’s a little cat scratched into the left bottom corner. The black and white patch is newspaper holding the planting pocket open until the clay is hardened. I used leaves impressed in the surface for the design but the wet slip obliterated a lot of the details so then I scratched them back into the surface.

It’s a prompting challenge I used to do on Facebook but things got on top of me. Maybe I’ll be able to get into it again. X
I worked a bit more on this digital drawing. I used a filter in photodirector to invert the colours, then an eraser that took out some of the dark colours and revealed the underlying colours. I think this looks a little like marble?
