Seabiscuit
Watching the film Seabiscuit on the TV. I decided to try and draw a horse so I used Artrage to draw it, then I edited it in Instagram and also Photodirector apps. It’s a bit smudgy and indistinct but I quite like it. I drew the mane blowing in the wide and it’s tail up in the air. Brown with a white blaze on his nose. Digital drawing.
Sunlight over bluebells, a year ago
An innocent day, a year ago. We were out at a Rode Hall, walking through the bluebell woods. No sign of the troubles ahead.
I wish I could hold the hand I held for 43 years, so firm and strong, walking into sunlight with you. Taking each step carefully along the path. You leading the way, supporting me.
I heard the birds singing and felt a gentle breeze that shook the bluebell heads. Nodding in the dappled shade. All ready for some fairy parade when we were gone.

Identifit?
Trying to line up the features I have been drawing recently. Looks like an identifit photo! The nose and mouth were a bit big so I had to shrink them down, I used my incollage app on my phone to line the images up.
Eyes prompt
Today’s #bandofsketchers prompt was eyes. Well I had a go, digital drawing with a stylus. Eyes drawn on my Artrage app. I’m shaking a bit much to get a neat image. I used various pen and smudge tools to get a softer image but I want to try and do some real painting and drawing soon if I can overcome my shaking.
Pattern prompt
For #bandofsketchers prompt pattern, I was playing with a previous digital drawing. I altered it in my Sketchbook app on my phone to add more symmetrical patterns and lines, then I adjusted it in photodirector.
Pink
#bandofsketchers prompt was pink, Following on from my nose drawing, here’s some pink lips x not brilliant, maybe I should have drawn flowers. I’ve tried to be accurate but I think I’ve created a trout pout! Anyway it’s drawn in the Artrage app on my phone.
Irritating
I just posted this doodle on Instagram. About 1 out of every 3 posts on my Instagram are now adverts or sponsored. Understand INSTAGRAM, I will never buy anything from these adverts, it’s a waste of my time and their time. I hide the ads when I see them, they are IRRELEVANT. I don’t buy things online, I hate adverts, I am bored by them, but I’m also not going to pay a premium not to view them.
Island views
#bandofsketchers prompt was island views. I tried to do a drawing of St Michaels Mount. I couldn’t work directly off a photo as its on a website and I couldn’t take a screen shot of it. Then I had to draw sideways to fit in my screen on the Artrage app I drew it in. Finally rotated it, it’s a bit of an impressionist image x
Brick wall time
Hitting my head against a brick wall. My world feels like a ton of bricks has landed on my head or I’ve run slap bang into a brick wall. Lots of things have been going wrong and I know I must break through the wall but it’s hard. Health, family, finances, I have been feeling down but I know I must continue to fight if I’m going to succeed and survive. I think I’m probably being bit too open here but I’m going to share these thoughts elsewhere too.
