Lazy days?

Do lazy days make you feel rested or unproductive?

I don’t so much have lazy days, more procrastinating ones. So in that case they are unproductive. I’m bound with the strings of fear and anxiety, hard to move. I look on and think about what I could do, but I am blocked somehow. I think I have artistic block?

Lazyness would be nice, to just sit and relax, to stop churning thoughts. Your breath settles, you snuggle in your duvet. No thoughts of ‘I must do’ this that and the other.

I love thinking, I do it a lot, my mind is rarely quiet, but I have learnt to think the word ‘the’ over and over, it breaks the train of thought so you can’t fixate on something that’s distracting you. Not lazy, but it assists me getting to sleep. X

Dull

View from kitchen window 6.30am

In a country that often gets more than its fair share of rain, today is rather dull, overcast, wet and windy.

It’s also flipping wet, raining cats and dogs, dark over Bills mothers house, persisting it down, good weather for ducks.

Other phrases spring to mind. If its not raining yet just wait five minutes… A bit damp, mizzling, drizzling, raining stair rods, blowing a gale, blowing a hooly, damp. Stormy, showery.

I’m sure there’s more, just can’t remember them all! Have a good day, stay safe, and if you do go out take a brolly and wellies!

What?

What is a word you feel that too many people use?

I don’t see what or which word I can object to? There are many words in this world that people use, sometimes a lot of people use the same word, but how can I object? Isn’t that censorship? I hate prejudice, and would not use such words, but sometimes they have to be spoken to explain their use, their critical importance in a conversation.

It’s hard to explain what I mean. But if someone were to use a derogatory comment then they might need to be prosecuted for it’s use. How can you take action if the word is not repeated? It’s a conundrum. The word might be ambiguous on the one hand or too direct on the other, in which case it might not be allowed.

Some words thankfully go out of fashion. I’m glad they have, but it doesn’t mean that there’s others that are also lost shouldn’t be saved.

I guess I’m on the fence for this prompt. Enough said?
