#30daysketchbookchallenge (monthly)

February starts with a continuation of the #30daysketchbookchallenge. Instead of a daily challenge we are being asked to do something on a monthly basis. I could have spent far more time on this. The whole month in fact. But I just decided to draw a simple daisy design. Perhaps the centre is reminiscent of a covid19 particle. You decide….

Don’t press, it won’t play!

It’s a screenshot! I have recorded a couple of songs for a virtual pantomime. It’s a group of us singing the beginning and end songs for the performance. I hope it goes together OK. We will then be given small scenes to speak our lines… I’m not sure how it’s going to work, people a lot cleverer than me will sort it out!

Fingers crossed we get some sort of funny performance result. X

Frost

Frost on the bonnet of my car. How does it grow like that? Feathers created by a mysterious creature called Jack Frost. Water frozen in amazing patterns, crystallising into flakes or swirls or swooping spirals. Beauty in nature, patterns from tiny water molecules.

This photo is from a couple of years ago. I haven’t seen frost like this, this winter. We have has snow, and some passing frosts, but nothing to build up a deep layer of ice like this. I would love to try and draw it if it happens again, particularly when it builds up on the windscreen of my car…
