I washed my hair earlier. My towel is a bit stiff because I don’t use softener in the machine, so when I wrapped it round my head it stuck out! I laughed when I saw myself in the mirror. I took a photo but I was in silhouette so I tried to lighten it and reduce the contrast. Then I put the picture through my photodirector app which can add texture…. This is the result.
It’s a struggle to dry my washing in the back yard at the moment. The washing line snapped and I’ve tied it back up but it’s a bit saggy. It is also surrounded with hanging baskets which are a riot of colour and lovely scents which I hope will infuse into the drying clothes (although it’s already rained this morning!). I can’t fit a dryer in the kitchen even if I could afford one, or afford to run it. Just hoping the day stays dry now.
My pallette wrapped in cling film. I did a bit more on my painting today but my arms are aching and I want a rest. If you wrap your acrylic paint up to keep the moisture in it will stay soft and you can carry on using it. It saves wasting it. This is a trick I didn’t really know about until a while ago, I’ve always let my paints dry on the pallette so I’m glad I learnt about this x
My purple coat that I walked nine miles in. It’s still wet! #bandofsketchers prompt was purple. Sitting on the settee with a stripey cover on it. I’m surprised how mant purple felt pens I’ve got. It is one of my favourite colours. X
