Space, hard to draw stars, so I drew Saturn instead. Then I filtered it through photodirector. Today’s #bandofsketchers prompt.
Black fine line ink pen.

Sundays #bandofsketchers prompt was sleeping. I drew my hubby asleep late at night. He had fallen asleep in front of the TV.
Black fine line ink pen on cartridge paper.

Today’s #bandofsketchers prompt was clouds. I went for a short walk this evening and saw a nice sunset so decided to draw it. This was done with felt pens. I didn’t have the right colours for it, so it’s more purple than the real colour.
I just found this draft, so I decided to publish it.

The cat was washing so I drew him. I decided to add contours instead of shading it in completely black. This follows on from my previous line drawing of bar code.. Similar principle. I like drawing convoluted lines. This was with a black fine line pen. The lines give it a different shape to how the fur would lie.
Tuesdays #bandofsketchers prompt was fruit. I drew a strawberry. Felt pens on cartridge paper. This is a photograph from a free clip art site. I liked using pink and red together. It makes an interesting combination.

Downwards
Through the air
Lower and lower
Faster
Slipping through the atmosphere
Tumbling
Speed
Rushing…
Falling
Parachute!

Learning a new song, 40 working horses about them and baker boys. It’s about when bakers delivered the bread by horse and cart. We were learning the song and I tried to draw a horse with the harness (although I don’t know exactly how it works), 40 X stands for the number in the song.
I do love drawing horses, when I was about ten I remember drawing a dappled grey horse and selling it to a friend for sixpence! (Old British money) X

Sundays #bandofsketchers prompt was ‘wood’. I’ve drawn a pencil sketch of a leafless tree in front of a large fully leafed tree. It was stark white against dark green and the lighter green of the grass. Used one of my photos of Westport lake from our walk today.

Just did this quick sketch of Bear, my friends dog.
The picture is only small. Black and grey ink and a bit of acrylic paint because the fine line black ink was too dark. I hope I’ve made her coat look white enough.
Today’s #bandofsketchers prompt was animal or pet so this is what I’m going to post. I hope my friend doesn’t mind.
