Sunday’s #bandofsketchers prompt was Tiers. Only just drew this. I made a trifle at the weekend to share with my sister who was visiting. Plus it is my birthday today, this is a low sugar version. I realised it has three tiers…

The #bandofsketchers prompt today was weather. I want it to rain. I painted silver clouds, then drew over it with felt pen to try and create a bright cloudy looking landscape with rainshowers.

Tuesdays#bandofsketchers prompt – sound. I went abstract with this, drawn in felt pens then adjusted digitally in photodirector. It represents the cacophony of sound someone with hearing difficulties suffers. Hearing aids boost hearing but also don’t differentiate sounds.

Hubby gazing across the canal at Etruria festival today. I should have used two pages to show what he was gazing at! But he moved too much so I just got a quick sketch in…Today’s #bandofsketchers prompt was gaze.

Thursdays #bandofsketchers prompt was glaze. I had some left over acrylic paint so I sketched out a pot . I painted in this random glaze idea. It’s meant to represent a raku firing.

Today’s #bandofsketchers prompt was tired. Well that’s exactly how I feel, busy weekend. An art group day yesterday and put up an exhibition with them, then today a drive out to Audlem to sing with our choir, then back to help take the exhibition down. Hubby says I look miserable not tired!

Today’s #bandofsketchers prompt was English. I think I went full “merry England” here! It’s definitely not fine art, more of a doodle, with morris dancers (you could have ‘molly’ dancers)… and a hobby horse, and children in the background dancing round the maypole, it’s set in a village with thatched cottages. I guess the main place I can think of that does something like this is Abbots Bromley near Rugeley in Staffordshire. They have the Abbots Bromley Horn Dance. But that’s in September? Sadly I’ve never witnessed it!

Tuesdays #bandofsketchers prompt was reflection… Quick reflection sketch. From a photo at Rode Hall lake a couple of weeks ago. The wind was ruffling the water so the reflections are a bit subtle….felt pens again.

Sundays #bandofsketchers prompt was slope. I drew a cat sloping off the page, with a sloped back walking down a slope. Three digital variations…

Midday was the #bandofsketchers prompt for Thursday. We were at Rode Hall bluebell walk a couple of weeks ago. The overhead sun shining directly down onto the ground threw quite dark shadows. It wasn’t perfectly sunny though so the contrast wasn’t too strong. Felt pen drawing.
