I’ve managed to finish it! Leonine, it’s going to a charity as a raffle prize. I hope they like it.

More done, I’m having a rest now…. I am enjoying doing this but I want to get the mane right, the photo I’m working from is quite high definition, I want to get as much detail in as I can without overdoing it. It’s about A4 size and acrylic on canvas.
These are her boys
These two boys were my female cats kittens, they were rehomed together and now they are about two and a half years old. I occasionally see photos of them, I do miss them. They are like larger versions of their mother. Both boys are really handsome. I wish I’d been able to keep them, and their two sisters that went to another home.

My little cat,
Staring into space,
Sitting on a sofa back
That’s your place.
One little cat
Captured my heart.
Making me happy,
Till death do us part….
Our little cat,
Purrs and likes to play
Jumping up and down
And sleeping half the day…

This cats whiskers
Are long and thin and bright.
Sturdy and determined
Brindled fur and paw.
Eyes glaring strongly,
Nose in the air.
Walking up to greet me,
Nuzzle at my hand,
A cat with a character.
This cats love is grand.
Catopuss
What has eight eyes and whiskers? A Catopuss. When you play with photos you can get some very strange effects. 
This is the original photo, a bit over exposed but cute. He’s got those big eyes that just melt your heart. So OK I just wanted to ost something funny and weird!

Fell asleep with a twitch of your tail,

In three years of life
Living with us, but nervous.
Always flighty, flitting, fleeing,
But now content to rest,

Cat food
Problem : my cats only eat one sort of cat food, and only one flavour – chicken. A few weeks ago we went to the shop where we get it from, they only had a couple of bags and a sign saying it was being discontinued?!
I asked what I could do? Order it on line they suggested. So I went onto a pet supermarket online shop today… No chicken flavour, only turkey or fish?
My cats are fussy eaters (did I say?) so what do I do? In a panic I rang the vets. The reason why a lot of manufacturers are stopping chicken is because DOGS have been found to be allergic to the flavour! My cats are not dogs. They are going to try and find me some suitable alternative. I hope the cats agree.

Had been two minutes before.
What a cheek,
The cat out flat.

On the bed!
