This morning
The light turned
From green to blue
As the sun rose
And chased away auroras.
Nightmare scenes
Of devilish greens
Just a phantom thought
Flashing through the sky…
Halloween is near
Spirits swoop in shear
Joy
New paintings and regular art updates.

As the sun set the clouds rolled in
Underlit by red sunlight
Boiling like a pot of shrimp?
But really calmly moving.
The nights are lengthening
Sunset comes earlier
Darkness encompasses us
I yearn for spring.
When the sun starts to return.

Sun setting, clouds arrive, leaves are still green.
Symmetrical pattern of view out my back door.

Sunset haze in Cornwall
Moon flys above
Silver glow over pink and purple
Fields are green and lush
Tides grow as moon and sun pull
Gravity from one direction
Water bulges
Seas rise and then subside.
Crepuscular light
Before the night.

Loved tonight’s sky, even though we are on the wrong side of the hill…our house is in shadow about two hours before the sun sets. We get good silhouettes! I grabbed my phone and took a picture. If I’d wanted to get to the sunset I would have had to jump in the car, turn round, drive up and over the hill and find somewhere to park. As it was these colours were fleeting, lasting only a few minutes. I only saw it because the light reflected into our kitchen and made it glow.

I touched a spiral bulb to my plasma lightning lamp that shines using four triple A batteries. I was amazed that it glowed brightly. The lamp must be transferring energy to the light bulb. I will try and find out if it effects any other bulbs?

We had to find shade!
The sun beat down through clouds
Fighting the atmosphere
Hunting my flesh
Sizzling and scalding
Burning flesh
So hot it hurt
Red skin turning bright
Feeling a glow
Feeling hot
No shivers
No chill
Hot and smarting
Summer arrives

Full moon through a dirty window. It’s blueish hue reminds me of those old songs, moon spoon, June, tunes of the past.
A glowing cold ball in the sky. Full now, but no longer linked to lunatics and howling wolves. Perhaps the fluorescent glow from sodium lights has drowned out its flooding influence.
But the tides still turn under its gravity, pulled upwards, the sea rises with the moon above it, while on the opposite side of the Earth the sea is held less firmly and slacken into another bulge. That is why there are two high tides and low tides a day.
And the Moon is tidally locked with Earth, so one side always faces us now. The Moon may be the result of a cataclysmic impact when a small planet struck Earth a glancing blow and lifted matter from Earth into the sky. The matter from the collision coalesced into the Moon and its orbit around Earth began. Now it is gradually moving away, a few centimeters a year. As it orbits Earth it is gradually slowing our spin. We used to make one rotation of the planet in around Twenty three hours. Now we have slowed to twenty four.
Moon. So much to learn.

Sunset comes to us all. Life is a temporary blip between aeons of nothingness. Celebrate it while you can. When dawn rose life was difficult, you have to learn, to grow. I feel that real life doesn’t start until you reach adulthood or at least when you have to take on adult responsibilities. Then the middle of your life is taken up with nine to five, working for someone, or for yourself. Trying to survive. Finally, if you are lucky you get to retire, or retrain. At least have the hope of doing something you want to do. Keep at it if you can, find a way through to some amount of happiness. Then, rest.

No, it’s a twig from a tree projecting from the side of a photo. When I duplicated it and mirrored it I got two birdlike objects, some stunted tree shapes, and the silhouette of the fence we were walking past. The sky had a wonderful glow, purples shading to red and then glowing golden orange. It was so clear, like crystal glass. So many ways to play with photos and come up with something new.
