Work up in Stone

Just been to Stone in Staffordshire, to the Artisan Boutique on the High Street there. Its a lovely cafe and also sells artwork. I’m prt of a six person show together with other members of the Orme Art Group. The exhibition runs throughout June and the works are for sale.

I will be visiting to have a proper look at the place soon and maybe stop off and have a cup of coffee. The shop also has seating outside so it’s a pleasant place to visit when it’s sunny.

B(u)y me for Christmas! Exhibition.

I’m really pleased to have some of my paintings up at the Brampton museum and art gallery from 16.11.19 to early January 2020. This is an opportunity for local artists to sell their work in the weeks coming up to Christmas. If you feel like having a look I’d recommend it, there’s lots to see and to buy.

It’s going to be a busy few weeks. Not helped by my having a fall at the weekend. I haven’t painted as much as I wanted and I’ve hardly been out of the house. But I mustn’t let it stop me trying to get things done over the next week or so.

I’m going to do some more green, or snowy men, try and get some cards printed and get some glass jewellery finished off..

Finished paintings delivered to the Waiting room gallery today. They are going to be part of the “Home is Where the Art is” exhibition starting soon. Now I need to work on paintings for the Brampton Christmas sale exhibition. I’ve only got a week to get some appropriate work done. I might also find out about getting some cards made from my images.

Craft fair today

This is why I’ve been missing today. I enjoy doing craft fairs but not on a regular basis.

I’ve not done badly today. But it is a lot of messing around and carting stuff about to be able to display your art. There is also the time it takes to get everything out then packed back away at the end of the day. We had some heavy wooden trestle tables, my shoulders are aching now . Anyway that was my day.
