Bye bye glasses lens, after my cataract op my eye was less short sighted so the optician has popped out the glass. Weird walking round with the wind blowing into my eye! I’ve put the screwdriver in the photo to show the lens has gone.
My eyesight is still slightly short sighted, but I am happy. My only problem is a bit of double vision. I would recommend the operation, and as my other eye is now getting fuzzier I’m glad I’m booked in to have the other one done.
I went out and picked up a few leaves today as there hadn’t been much rain lately and they are starting to turn interesting colours. I might paint the background as a puddle with sky and clouds reflected in it. I will have to consider it. Acrylic on canvas, work in progress….
He stayed the night again and I woke up with a very happy cat snuggled on the bed. So much so, when I got up and made a coffee I couldn’t get back in bed easily because he was weighing the duvet down! I think he’s transitioned to an indoor/ outdoor cat now. Which is good because he can spend winter in the warmth of his new home.
I’ve upgraded my Instagram account to try and understand the traffic there. I have been putting off doing it for a few years but as I’m trying to do more art and illustration I guess it’s necessary. I think having more insights will help me choose what to post and when. But like here I’m a bit of a scattergun. Anything I’m interested in gets written down and as I have eclectic tasted I have I like sharing those ideas here. What do you think?
