What nickname?

What’s the story behind your nickname?

I don’t have a nickname anymore. I used to have one, but I’ve forgotten it. I’ve changed as I’ve got older and only my hubby would use a nickname for me, and he stopped that a few years ago.

So when I was a child I was called nicknames by the school bullies. They took my surname and changed it to blueband (there was a margarine by that name) and used to shout it at me. I hated that. So I was pleased when I moved up to senior school and the bullying stopped.

As I say I had a nickname given me by my hubby, it was something silly, but I truly can’t remember it. So I guess I’ve answered and not answered the question.

Plus, what if I use my ex-nickname as a password for my computer, some of these questions rely on you being honest, but what if someone else reads it and uses the data? That’s a good question. Thankfully I’ve never used blueband as any kind or part of my passwords (plural), and now I’ve mentioned it I never will! Put that in your thesaurus and smoke it!

My phone died!

Every single app has disappeared! I’ve got the mammoth task of uploading everything I use. But I’m not used to this phone. I’m all over the place. I keep closing the screen instead of hitting the space bar. My PC needs syncing to everything on the phone. Goodness knows how I’m doing this. I have the landlines phone here as well. The chap in the shop said he’d sorted my email out, but it’s not linking to the server.

Mind you I feel sorry for him! As he tried to download all my contacts and images the phone superheated and burnt him! I’m very lucky to have anything to transfer! The battery was down to 17% when he got the phone and 1% when he finished!

So if there is a hiatus in my posts, please forgive me. X

Questions?

I’ve started doing the daily prompts on here but I can’t help wondering about giving away information. I’m not the most interesting person in the world, and I don’t want to share stuff that could allow me to be scammed. So I don’t share per names, or relatives names. If anyone did get into my pages they would find I have a separate password for everything. Capital letters, numbers, symbols, long words. So password protected is real in my case.

I do talk about my past life sometimes, but it will be vague, and I try not to identify with definite dates.

The prompts are questions, which I’m not sure I like to answer, and yet they make me think of things that I would not necessarily write about otherwise.
