A quick sketch for a prompt “flutter” for a group I’m in called bandofsketchers. A butterfly drawn in Artrage app on my phone. It’s a bit scribbly, but it is meant to be a sketch…

Trying to draw on my phone in a soft way using Artrage. Its a hard shell trying to be softened using various pens.. This was a #band of sketchers prompt.

I’ve suddenly got back to drawing on our bandofsketchers group. I lost confidence with my health issues and problems with my eyesight. I didn’t feel the same way about the challenges and so let it slip.
But I saw what my friends are doing and decided to have another go. This bird comes under the prompt ‘new’. I decided to do something in a new style in Artrage. I hope you like it.

Trying to do a digital drawing after my cataract op and shaking from Parkinsons. Using Artrage drawing app.
It’s a bit rough but at least I tried.

“fishscales” Artrage app, digital drawing I’ve just completed this using metallic and non metallic pens. I love this app. It feels like a truly free way of using digital methods.

Just another cat doodle, this one is a finger drawing done on my Artrage app. And duplicated on incollage. I do love playing with these apps.

I don’t do many of these anymore. I find it harder to hold my phone when I’m sketching and drawing. My fingers cramp up round the phone and sometimes round a stylus if I’m drawing with one. Anyway got to keep my hand in as the saying goes. Ten minute digital drawing in my Artrage app.

Playing with Artrage, it’s been a while, I wanted to create the impression of a stained glass window. I like drawing digitally and I used a stylus to try and control my shakiness. I like this app because it had various pens and the ability to make the colours metallic. I paid for it, but not much and I’ve used it for several years .

Another digital drawing done with the Artrage app a few years ago. I think this was possibly done using a stylus, not as a finger painting. Why purple? I like the colour. It seems to include blues and reds within it, so that it can be cold or warm. If I could change anything on this I would probably erase the short stubby legs and just have it swimming with a reflection underneath it instead. Somehow it looks like it’s standing on ice…

Doodle of faces in profile and full face. Artrage doodled finger painting. I like adding layers and this app has different pens. I the past I just used the free Artrage oils app which just had synthetic oil paint texture, but this has spray paint, glitter, various other pens and brushes. It’s fun to use. You can also add metallic touches.
