He’s Back!

He’s back! Came in 3am, very thirsty, covered in dirt. Smells of smoke? I’ve looked him over, now cleaning him gently. Will take him down the vets in the morning for a check over but I just want him to rest now.

He’s really dirty. I think he must have been stuck somewhere. He’s a bit whezy so I’ll take him to the vets later…

Leaflets

I decided o do some leaflets about my cat, which was fine till the printer ran out of ink! I went in the computer shop only to find out they don’t stock that ink anymore. Grr

So I diligently delivered over thirty leaflets. I had to fill in gaps in the ettering where it had not printed properly.

I’ve removed his name and my phone number as this is being shared in public. You have to be so cautious about sharing information. I just want my cat back.

Missing cat

My boy cat has gone missing. If you live in Stoke-on-Trent, I’m near Portmeirion pottery. He does go out but usually comes in at night, or first thing in the morning.

I’ve always trained my cats to come when I whistle a short tune. I use it because the sound carries better than shouting.

I’m worried because he has a heart murmur. I’m just posting here on the off chance someone might know something.

Cat on a roof

One of our indoor cats snuck out the back door today. We didn’t realise as my hubby left the back door open just while he popped out to get the milk in. I knew she was out when I went to give her some cat treats and she didn’t come running immediately.

My hubby is loud, and she runs and hides from him, so when he went out shouting her name I knew that wouldn’t work. I put my coat on and shook the bag of treats near the back door, then tried looking between the back fence and the shed. No sign. Still shouting her name I called and called, no answer…

I came in to calm down, I did the washing up to take my mind off things. I decided to give her a few minutes peace to let her settle wherever whe was. Then I went out and called her again….

Mew! Mew! She was miaowing loudly, but where? Sounded like the neighbours garden. You have to go out our front door and down the alley… Mew! I could hear her, but not see her. She mewed constantly as I called her, I looked behind old bits of wood, and an old door propped against the fence. Mew! I climbed over a pile of old branches into the next garden. Mew! Not in their shed.

Mew! The cat noise was coming and going, as if she was moving around. But where? Not behind anything? Maybe up? There she was, she must have climbed up a bush to get onto a kitchen extension roof!

She doesn’t climb, except up stairs, but she got up there. Mew!!! Come down little cat? After a lot of cajoling she came down just after the neighbour offered the loan of a ladder! She scrambled and slid down the branches… And shot off into our garden! I ran round and back through the front door, through the house and let her in the back door. She ran upstairs. Then she came down again and had some food, as if nothing had happened.

Woody the cat

I’m still worried about Woody, the cat that has taken up residence in our garden summerhouse. We’ve now contacted the Cats protection league and they are going to put him on their page for a couple of weeks. As I explained we tried bringing him in but it upset the other cats, plus they won’t let me take them to the vets so they have not been fully inoculated. They don’t go out, and he can’t come in.

Anyway I sent them photos of him and wrote:

Here is a photo of Woody. He’s very friendly and quite big. He’s always mooching round our garden and now the weather’s getting colder he sleeps in a cat tree base in our summerhouse. We think he might have been abandoned. Regards

Missing Cat

Seamus NOW HOME!20180621_230006

Seamus our boy cat has gone missing. We think he sneaked out while the builder had the bathroom window open.

I know its a long shot, but for anyone living in Stoke or Penkhull who is not on Facebook please can you let me know if you find him. He has a dark blue collar with diamond sparkly bits. He has a name tag with his address and our landline number. He has been microchipped .

He is timid and is probably hiding somewhere.  He does not like cars.  If he went to the front door and a car drove past he would run away from the noise of it. Unfortunately there are a lot of quiet roads and gardens behind us so he could have got a long way by now.

He has odd pupils to his eyes, one is slightly higher than the other so it looks like he is looking in slightly different directions. He has a heart murmer and may be affected by the heat.

Please let me know if you see or hear him. ..

He is now home having a wash lying on my foot! I whistled and shouted for two hours outside the back door. He always comes to me in the house when I whistle… also left his cat litter outside….
