I still like this photo that I made into a mirrored image, the tree is just putting out catkins as Spring comes closer. But my favourite bit is the roof on the right. It sort of looks like a fish or a strange bomb? or a plane?

Never seen a tree trunk like this before. It’s like a hand reaching down grasping something protruding from the earth. The limbs explode above waiting to burst into leaf. I could see catkins but could not identify this gnarly tree. Bishton Hall near Rugeley, Staffordshire was holding a craft fair. Very interesting and enjoyable.

I’ve never been to this nature reserve, and yet it’s only about a mile away behind the local University. My friend showed it me today. It takes in some hills, a lake and the River Trent. We walked quickly so I feel really tired out. Its somewhere to visit as the spring progresses. We might even have a picnic. X
Views include the river Trent, near Leek Road, Stoke-on-Trent,

Blowing a gale
Air full of hail
What do I see?
Catkins on a tree!
Waving and twirling
Snow flakes are curling
Fall to the ground
But all around
Nature awakes
With every breath it takes
Spring comes nearer….
Nothing is clearer!

What does she mean
It’s grey and gloomy.!
There is no sun..
There is no colour…
What can she mean
What spring is Springing?
What leaves are budding?
It’s winter you fool!
But….
I can see the catkins
Hanging down and waving.
Life is reviving.
Revivified, coming back
Now we can move on….
