Black and white
Neat and tidy
Often aloof
But sitting beside me.
Paws lined up
Waiting to dine
Everything about him
Is oh so fine.
He’s only a moggy
A white and black cat
He can be soppy
And he’s getting quite fat!

When I got an ink roller to blot out the name and address on a letter I realised I could also draw with it. This is from 4 years ago and came up on Facebook memories. This was one of my experiments. Since the roller made quite a wide mark it turned into a fat cat! Some of it is using a fine line pen but if you use the roller edge you can also draw lines.

Late last night, as I was sleeping in my armchair, there was a curious clattering noise. I woke up to see my big cat walking into the living room with the door of the cat flap and the surrounding plastic bit stuck round his belly!
A few years ago I had to replace the flap and the bit around it because he had battered the original flap trying to get through it. It was before he was our cat and he used to sneak in and pinch the other cats food. The replacement is a bit small so it can fall out if it’s treated roughly.
It was very amusing seeing him wearing the door as a skirt! He was soaking wet from the rain. Looking like a black and white otter! I released him from his trap. He fell asleep on the chair next to me.

Oh dear! When I got up this morning I found the clear flap part of the cat flap and it’s surround on the floor inside the back door. Clearly our big cat had come through and must have got it stuck round his belly. Luckily I fixed the flap last week so I know which bits to press on to open it up and re-fit the flappy part…. I tried to adjust it… He’s just come back in. Seems OK at the moment, but I don’t want to have to keep putting it back together again!
