Another symmetrical view of the sky and vegetation. I just like the subtle patterns they create. Colours and silhouettes. Making the most of the sky before blackness descends. Also taking my mind off a unusual thumping headache, possibly because I’m sleeping downstairs because of my aching ribs. Ah wee, got to keep myself occupied.
I put a sunset photo through the photodirector app (styles) and liked this result. The effect seems to be like oil on water, fluid but blocky. The colours are subtly concentrated in patches and the line edges are more curved.
There are about seven options for textures so I went through them all to choose the one I liked best. Some of them are more smudged than others.
Not all photos have to be brightly coloured or black and white. These plants are all very similar in tone, but the shapes of the leaves, flower and seed heads bring it to life. I think I took the photo at the back of Trentham Gardens at the south of Stoke-on-Trent. We need more wildflowers to help the bees.
