I wasn’t driving last night so I had a small gin and lots of tonic. But when the drink came it had a sprig of rosemary in it along with the ice. It was delicious, tasty, refreshing. I had the glass topped up with more tonic water. It was very delicious.
I liked the look of the crystal cut glass so took a photo of it. I don’t take many photos of food and drink but I just liked the image. I might play around with it in photodirector.
What is your favorite drink?
Something refreshing for summer days. Non alcoholic, sparkling, tasty.
Fresh and cool with lots of ice. Safe to drink if you are driving. The zest of limes and lime cordial add flavour.
It looks convivial and more interesting than tap water. So you don’t feel left out at a party. And you can always sneak in a gin and tonic if you want a small drink to join in the fun!
Weird thing! The gin my hubby bought me has infusions of cardamon, turmeric and dried mandarin… I just wanted a normal London dry gin. It had ice in it with tonic water, but that melted in the heat.
He also bought golden milk ice cream which also has Tumeric in it. Why? What is the point? I would not eat it, I told him I did not want any. CURRY flavoured ice-cream, I love curry, but not as a dessert.
Flavours are personal, if you’ve ever tried something it’s good to give it a try but not turmeric. No.
Today’s #bandofsketchers prompt was fruit. Lemon and limes sitting in a bowl for gin and tonics, but I haven’t had any gin in for weeks! Felt pen drawing, as usual. But I tried to use a minimal amount of black and not use much outlining, so it’s more solid colour.
Today’s # bandofsketchers prompt was wrapped. My sister visited and dropped this off today. Its wrapped, but I can see what’s inside…. Looking forward to unwrapping it!
