Spent all day fighting PowerPoint!

Today was hard. One of our college presentations has to have our illustrations in a PowerPoint. But my computer was playing up and instead of being able to use the tabs at the top of the page they were greyed out. So I started a new presentation, copied and pasted the work over… Then I had a break for lunch, and the new powerpoint would not work, but the old one would! So I shifted all the new work over and continued. I just finished it. I don’t think it’s well presented. PowerPoint gives you design options so each page looks good, but together it’s a bit of a mush mash.

I have got to finish off another piece of work and hand both in this week so I might be missing for a few days.

Had to buy ANOTHER keyboard!

Oh well, I guess it was the storm, but my second keyboard I bought a few weeks ago has died. The computer shop said take it in and they will test it. In the meantime I’ve bought a slightly better, more comfortable one. Cost twice as much but hey.

Then I had a message that drivers were out of date, so now I’m updating them. I don’t know if I’ve got the will to tye anything today (coursework that is)….

I’m hoping it will be OK soon. Just got a message from Microsoft trying to sell me premium services… Nah…

Oh darn! (or worse words!)

Last night my computer just switched off. Everything went black, the monitor stopped working, the printer stopped. The only thing still on was my speakers. I think it was a thermal cut out? One of my transformers was very hot and the extention lead that things were plugged into had stopped working (the light on it was out). So, back to the computer shop. All my course work is on it. I can’t do things on my phone! So DARN it!
