Drops of rain
As showers hit the plain
The smell of damp ground
Soils compound
Life giving water
Flowers start to mound
Up to the sky
Blue bells and forget me nots
Softly watered…..
I’m trying to design a poppy painting that could also be used on a card. I’ve decided to have a poppy in the rain with drops of water on it. I wanted to signify remembrance and sadness without being too grim. I think I will paint this and see how it looks. X
