All the leaves fall down
Fallen in a mound
As the wind whirls round
Rain streaks the windows
As the wild storm blows
Hail mixed into icy rain
Knocks more leaves down again
Time has ended for them now
Rotten, crumbled, so they go.
Now I’ve fallen
you don’t care
I let go and you
didn’t stop me..
Lost my way
Flew away
Into darkness
Falling down
Somehow renewed
Fluttering when you
Lost your grip
Now I’m free
To dance and play
You have no say
Today.
