Mascot

Mascot of some sort of Falcon seen on a motor trike last summer at a classic car show. Lovely chrome with orange eyes. The green paintwork was fabulous. You wouldn’t want to get into an argument with this bird.

I do like looking at things and sometimes I can get a good photo of objects with my little caeon my phone.. The trouble is its getting very full of images and I have to scroll through a lot of them to find things, so mostly I chose more recent images. Hope you like this one.

Back to life

In January I started a back to life sketchbook for my college course. This was day ones drawing, a falcon on my mouse at, pens and my computer mouse. I continued drawing every day from then on, I have done all sorts of drawings and I’m still doing them (today was some ice cubes). That effort has been interesting, sometimes confusing, difficult to maintain if I could not find something to observe and draw. But it has been rewarding. My imagination has been stretched and expanded. My ideas generation has improved. I would recommend drawing everyday to anyone who is interested in art.

Potbank shaped planter

Based on the Falcon on the Goss works, Stoke-on-Trent.

My planter painted up for the Stoke BID Art-trail. It’s based on the Goss works Falcon plaque on the outside of a derelict pottery in Bath Street, Stoke-upon-trent, Stoke-on-Trent.

Several artists were given these potbank shaped planters to be painted up for the BID project. They should be on display this summer, all I need to do now is varnish it x
