Tummy rub?

Dare you? Sometimes when a cat rolls over and shows you it’s belly it’s being friendly, and sometimes not. Beware if you reach your hand over. You can be grabbed by the front paws and kicked by the cats back legs, and don’t forget the teeth! major damage can ensue. I’m not saying disaster will happen but its worth watching for twitching tail and grabbing paws with claws out. If you don’t you can end up at the sharp end of your cat!

Are the stars out?

In the sky I see stars, not many, the major constellations, ursa major, ursa minor, casseopea. Its hard to make out because the clouds are flitting by. And despite lockdown, the street lights still deaden them.

I’ve only ever felt the greatness and infinity of space when we were out in the countryside. Seeing the milky way galaxy made me feel so tiny. Like I could fall off the surface of the earth, into a whirlpool of stars. Seeing that band of stardust overhead can be overwhelming.

Dark skies, where the town and city light does not reflect back. Where you can lie down on the ground and see shooting stars flying overhead. I may have seen satellites or the ISS but I wouldn’t be sure. We have seen comets…

The sky is there to observe. Look if you can, and learn.

Playing

sketch-1537567136985

Playing is learning

and learning if finding out-

How something works,

How far is infinite?

Do stars have names?

The stellar ones, not people.

Learning to live, love and be loved.

Playing is life before we know why.

Reflecting on what if, what is, why?

Give praise for play, and theatre, music

Give praise to be learners of law,

Have fun while you play,

While away the time

But

Stand firm when you have played and learnt.

Don’t lose your wish to learn more.

Keep in mind what went before,

And learn from what’s in store…
