This is the drawing I did today for yesterdays band-of-sketchers prompt, post.
Was thinking of drawing a pile of paperwork and envelopes but decided to draw today’s post. I put it back into the letterbox so I could make it look more interesting. I’m glad I got a gold pen to draw the door furnishings.
Tomorrow is October and there will be more prompts to draw.

Can I recommend joining an urban sketchers group and following one of the ‘drawing indoors’ challenges that are being set up. The first I knew about it was a Facebook post from Urban Sketchers in London. They had decided to do a thirty day challenge while they spend enforced time at home. After all you only need a pen or pencil and some paper.
My branch of Urban Sketchers in Stoke-on-Trent are thinking of doing the same…

I don’t know when or where I bought this little ink roller, but I think it was probably at a craft shop. The roller is in a little fluorescent green case and is round. It is supplied by black ink and is covered by letters which make an interesting textured pattern. I used it to create faces and a picture of a cat. It’s good to experiment with art.
