We see the light shine

Piercing the leaves
As they yellow and fade.
Fruits are ripening
Apples wind falling
Garden spiders shimmering

Left a gap so people don’t have to look. It’s a garden spider, building its web outside the kitchen window. It had been battered by a rain shower that had happened a few minutes ago.
