Oh dear! What have I done? I haven’t posted much recently, and since the clocks went back I have got less views. Maybe I’m boring people. It’s hard not to be repetitive and I’ve also expressed some political views that might have put people off or annoyed them. But I can’t help being honest about my opinions. I don’t think I’m extreme in any way, just concerned about what is happening in the world with democracy and climate change. Tell me if there is anything I need to do to change? The Internet is an echo chamber, sometimes you only hear what you want to. I don’t think I can change that much?

I like to see what countries my readers are from. That’s one of the coolest things about this — though whether they actually READ or not, I dunno, but still.

Very true, I sometimes look at the countries over the year. Just one view from a far off country is interesting.

Very true. I also think changing from British Summer time has had an effect. I can post till 1am in the summer and still have posts on the current day. I usually do my main posts after 11pm because I’m busy in the day. Now I have to get posts in by midnight. X

I have been here for three years and still see no correlation between post length or content and the number of views, likes or comments. There really seems none! I have noticed though that for the last maybe six months that viewers from Asia have dropped off massively. I assumed that WP had changed their algorithms but maybe not?

The stats don’t add up a lot of times. I often think they’re fake numbers so don’t worry about it. And don’t feel like you’re under any pressure to please anyone with your opinions on politics or number of posts or anything. Just do what you want with your blog.
