Today, for the first time in two years I went back to Spode. I have a lot of paintings that I have done over the years. I’ve avoided going because of Covid and it felt so strange being there. Like the time hasn’t passed, and yet there are new people there. If I want to carry on being an artist I need to get my act together again. I called myself an explorative fine artist and I want to be one again.
Wonderful! I’m so happy for you, Chris!

Last week I couldn’t have gone in. It’s taken some thought to get back in the right mood. X

I understand that! I had to make a big shift to do the holiday show at the local museum last fall. But once I did, it was done. 🙂 I’m glad you went!

It’s an old pottery site that they are trying to reuse. Unfortunately our council seem to want to knock down a lot of it. This would remove a large amount of Stoke’s heritage.

🫥 What a pity! Maybe you can rent a place for all of these things.

That’s what the studio spaces are. I’m glad they are there. Just a shame it’s not all managed.
