I love this copper succulent

Seen at the Dorothy Clive garden. In their new glass house. I love the metallic sheen on it and the spectacular spiral placement of the leaves. It probably links to a Fibonacci number. That’s a specific pattern of how spirals interact. Like the centers of sunflower heads.

Berry fool.

Close up berries turned into a strange pattern. It looks almost like some odd creature. Symmetry does strange things, creating unexpected images. I was pleased with the clarity of the photo I took this from. Being able to see the individual hairs on the fruit, and the sheen on the berries. The shadows and hollows also work really well.
