What notable things happened today?

Is it notable to help someone?

I did, and I’m glad.

Was it a success?

Partially, but the computer was bad!

But still we tried

Going back monday

Even so my friend is pleased

Notably so

Her trouble was eased.

Happen today?

I got some catfood

As I went on my way.

I watched some TV

Because I felt frail

That was not notable

It was a fail!

For the very first time

David Niven starred

It was an awful crime

So very silly

But not at all funny

Notably bad

Avoid it, a waste of money!

We had snow

Five am and the sky was orange. The snow was dumped on us. Only a couple of inches, but you don’t know how disruptive that can be in a country that doesn’t get much of the white stuff in the winter.

As our street lamps change from sodium light to white led lamps I wonder if that orange glow will fade and we will get silvery white instead? The sound is deafened by the snow, everything is muffled. I think I can hear sleighbells…..
