Brown is boring
Brown’s like grey
Such a shame
Is there no way
To be exciting
On a cold wet day
It looks so drab.
But a shaft of sunlight
Brightener of all
Lifts it to Golden brown
Or the colour of copper kettles
Bronzed or even brassy
Makes me happy
Brown can be sassy
