I don’t know what’s causing this, but I think its because I’ve had my washing up water too hot and I might have used too much washing up liquid? I’m taking time with washing up because I’m struggling to hold onto things and when I use washing up liquid bottle I have to squeeze really hard to get it out. So really I’m using too much. I think I might put it in a smaller container so I don’t get as much on my hands. I’m leaving my rings off for a couple of days and I will try using a little eczema cream on my fingers. Has anyone had similar problems?
What are 5 everyday things that bring you happiness?
Five things that are everyday things?
1. Washing up liquid. Not used to the excess, enough to clean plates and cutlery without polluting the waterways. You can buy ones that are ecologically acceptable. It makes me happy that I can have clean plates.
2. Clean water, to drink, for washing and for bathing. I so lucky to live in a country that mostly has this, although the infrastructure is aging and even here there are some droughts and water shortages.
3. Are Cats everyday objects? I have to say they give me great pleasure and happiness. I’m not saying they are perfect, they can be mad, silly, crafty, cheeky. And they are pretty ubiquitous.
4. Electric light. I wish more people could have this, to be able to see at night without using smoky candles or oil lamps. I hope more communities can get solar power. It’s been shown that school children do better when they can see to do their homework. And maybe more solar power for other necessities.
5. Toilets, it’s a little bit delicate to talk about, but we are again lucky to have them here. They help reduce illnesses and ideally people could be given them. I think you can twin with communities through charity to raise funds to build them in poorer societies. I don’t know the details unfortunately.
Not satellite images. These are photos of my washing up bowl with the cold water tap running and a little bit of washing up liquid added. The bright patch and the dark curves are the sky and plant leaves reflected in the surface of the water and the running tap gave swirls and vortices that made the slight foam look like swirling clouds.
Is it strange to wash my shopping? I get in and wipe each item over with washing up liquid. It’s making my hands sore, but I think it’s important to do it. Sorry about the little sketch but I didn’t want to advertise what groceries I buy.
Anyway, I know the coverings might be perfectly clean, but my argument is that you don’t know who has handled them.
