Watched Sky Portrait artist of the year, semi final with Booker Prize winner, Bernadine Evaristo as the sitter. I got an image of her from the net and tried to draw her. It’s not a good likeness but I tried. Thirty to Forty minute drawing. Felt pens on cartridge paper.
Watching Sky Portrait artist of the year. I couldn’t find pictures of all the sitters so decided to draw Catherine Grainger from a photo on the Web, ten minute sketch.
I want to watch the programme so leaving it at this. I might do another one later.
There is a programme on Sky arts, portrait artist of the year. I don’t have Sky, but I found a photo of this week’s sitter, Judge Rinder. I decided to have a quick go with my charcoal pencil. It’s not brilliant and the definition of some of the lines is not very good. But anyway I’m posting this. I took about twenty minutes. I couldn’t make this subtle but I think I’ve got a slight resemblance. The dog isn’t good at all!
